B3 Theater

When Franc Gaxiola founded the B3 company, it was called Bare Black Box Productions, and was designed to do edgy, provocative theater on little to no budget. When we changed from B3 Productions to B3 Theater, we hoped to embrace production elements that were missing from the original set of shows. Franc was looking for a way to get back to the roots of theater – ‘an actor and a stage’, to paraphrase Peter Brook. Now that we are in the company’s fourth year, we are proud to adopt a new ideal with our “Three B’s:” Be Bold. Be Brazen. Be Brilliant.
