Bio
Meribeth Reeves has been dedicated to theater for the past 33 years as a theater administrator, director, stage manager, writer, and producer. She is Managing Director of the Scottsdale Center for the Arts and former executive director of Desert Foothills Theater where she worked for twelve years building the youth theater and education program as well as enhancing the work of the adult theater. She is currently working on her Master of Arts in theater direction through Roosevelt University in Chicago (completion 2025).
Meribeth serves on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Presenters Alliance, is Past President of the ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence Board of Directors, is a proud Arts Hero from March 2017 and is an alumni of ASU Lodestar American Express Leadership Academy Class VIII.
Meribeth has directed and stage managed throughout her career in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Arizona. Most recently she directed The Addams Family for Scottsdale Community Players/Greasepaint, Junie B. Jones for TheaterWorks and is a teaching artist with the ASU/Gammage Disney Musicals in Schools program. She also directed Hunkr’d Down featuring Ed Asner and Janet Arnold for Scottsdale Arts’ Learning and Innovation (SALI) virtual programming. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts in theater direction at Roosevelt University.
