CELEBRATE!!!
August 1, 2016
The ariZoni Awards of Theatre Excellence board is excited to announce some wonderful changes to the 2016 awards presentation. The first, and most visible change is that it is now being called a "celebration" instead of "ceremony." The event is being re-worked to make it an even stronger celebration of the incredible community made up of ariZoni participating theaters.
This year there will be no hosts, presenters will be sharing more information about participating theaters and comedic bits will be replace with more performances from nominees. There will also be an enhanced recognition of theater technicians. A board subcommittee is working on this aspect alone and is excited to incorporate displays, images, etc. highlighting the work of technicians to celebrate their amazing work.

Exciting happenings on June 4
June 6, 2016
As part of the new and exciting collaborative direction of the ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence board of directors, the ariZoni's were pleased to host a meeting of the Artistic and/or Managing directors of all ariZoni Award-participating theaters.
Together the group looked at proper inclusion of the contracted theaters in the programs of the ariZoni Theatre Awards and looked at challenges area theaters are facing and ways the ariZonis can help. We look forward to taking these great ideas and putting them into action.

Arizona Ford Dealers:
Supporting Arizona's young artists
Posted December May 20, 2016
For the past two years, the Arizona Ford Dealers have been generous sponsors of the ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence college scholarships. $5000 was awarded to qualified applicants who were studying or going to study any aspect of theater in college.
We are so thankful for Ford's generosity and to have them as a partner to ensure promising young people can pursue a degree in performing arts.
