ASU Music Theatre and Opera currently produces five fully staged and costumed opera and musical theatre productions each year in its own 450–seat Evelyn Smith Music Theater, all supported with full orchestras from ASU's nationally renowned instrumental ensemble program.

The School of Film, Dance and Theatre educates and advises students in the literatures, theories, histories, and practices of contemporary filmmaking, theatrical performance, dance, and related fields. Our teaching, research, creative activity, and professional service enrich the cultural life of the University, the community, the state, and the region, extending beyond our borders; and move the arts of theatre, dance, and film production into the future by building on their diverse histories and cultural contexts.

The mission of the Brelby Theatre Company is to foster an environment for artists to imagine and grow freely,create quality intimate theatre, and inspire our community.

Desert Foothills Theater is an award-winning theater that has been presenting work in the far north valley since 1975.  Theater changes lives and we invite all community members to be part of that life-changing experience by providing performance, volunteer, education and attendance opportunities for everyone!

Founded by famed animation Don Bluth, who worked on and directed numerous classic animated films, the Don Bluth Front Row Theatre is a family-friendly theater located in North Scottsdale off Shea and the 101.

The Performing Arts & Theatre program is unique at EMCC because students learn the basic foundational skills of acting in a compassionate and supportive learning environment. 

Fountain Hills Theater is a non-profit, community organization dedicated to providing live, quality theatre experiences to the people of Fountain Hills, Rio Verde, Tonto Verde, North Scottsdale and the Fort McDowell Indian community.

With a history spanning more than 50 years, Grand Canyon University's (GCU) Ethington Theatre is home to a variety of arts events, including award-winning student performances. You are invited to experience work from the talented GCU students of our College of Fine Arts and Production, with theatre performances, dance concerts and more.

The Hale Centre Theatre has been dedicated to providing our patrons with the finest theatrical experience possible in an atmosphere as intimate and friendly as their own homes. In doing so, we have always selected shows which reflect our promise to provide fun and affordable entertainment.
 

Maricopa Community Theatre was formed in January 23, 2010 as the baby of Artistic Director, Carrie Vargas. 

She knew that Maricopa had abundant talent, and that being nestled in its location, there is a distance for the community to travel to see quality theatre. It is from that knowledge and experience, that Maricopa Community Theatre was created. 

MCC offers large-scale musical productions (Act I Musical Production) which are open to public audition.

We support a variety of theatre outreach experiences including four main stage productions, as well as student productions and showcases, original works, guest artists, workshops, and puppetry performances.

Mesa Encore Theatre (MET) brings the fun and excitement of live theatre to the community with integrity and dedication to excellence. We are committed to being an integral part of the cultural experience that contributes to the quality of life for all – adults of any age, youth and children. MET respects the talents and skills of its volunteers and welcomes everyone to participate, enjoying and enhancing their performing arts experience, both on stage and behind the scenes.

PVCC is dedicated to providing hands-on experiences for its students and during a typical school year students work in all areas from Acting, Directing, Designing, Stage managing, Building, and crew work on the five plus Theatre shows produced in the two theatres on campus.  

Located in Arizona's fastest growing area, the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center is a diva free zone and is known for having some of the state’s largest casts. Their production of Lion King Jr had almost 200 in each of the 2 casts. Their goal is inspiring a community to act  - whether onstage, behind the stage or watching the stage. 

Scottsdale Desert Stages Theatre is an award-winning, non-profit performing arts theatre in Old Town Scottsdale. Desert Stages was established in 1995 by Laurie Cullity, the late Gerry Cullity and Joan Thompson. Desert Stages is committed to offering high-quality entertainment for the entire community and prides itself on providing a creative and inclusive environment where actors can learn, grow and thrive. 

Formed in 2006, Space 55 Theatre Ensemble is dedicated to developing new, under-represented and innovative theatre, and presenting it at an affordable price in a relaxed, casual environment. pace 55 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in downtown Phoenix. Exposing audiences to the cutting edge of live theatre, Space 55 has quickly established itself as a vital force in the Phoenix arts scene. In addition to its own original productions, the Space 55 performance venue hosts a wide variety of live entertainment by diverse performers, including improvisational comedy, music and other special events.

Stage Left Productions was created to provide an outlet for creative community involvement, while seeking to produce quality entertainment.Stage Left Productions performs at the Stage Left Theatre in Surprise Arizona.

SCT is dedicated to providing live theatre to entertain and enrich our community and to encourage youth and adult participation by providing growth and educational opportunities through a variety of theatrical experiences, both on and off stage.

Decidedly off the beaten path, Stray Cat is indie theatre at its best: quirky, edgy and irreverent. Stray Cat Theatre scratches the Valley's itch for a visceral, provocative theatre experience for culture-savvy cats who crave something beyond the standard kitty chow.

Theater Works the resident theater company at Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, is entering its 30th season of providing exceptional theater to the West Valley. As a destination, it features more then 200 events a year including: live theater, classical concerts, jazz, popular music, dance, comedy, cultural events, festivals, youth and adult education classes and much more. 

Located in Apache Junction, Zao Theatre's mission is to engage, inspire, entertain, and challenge audiences with theatrical productions that range from the classics to new works.
